Valentine's Competition terms and conditions
1. Participants may enter by sending a text message via a mobile phone Short Message Service to a given phone number or short code. The text message will be at charged at a rate fixed by the organizers from time to time.
Cost of each SMS is R2 (Text) incl. VAT.
This is not a subscription service.
Bill payer's permission required.
Free SMS's do not apply.
Errors will be billed.
By entering this service, users consent to receiving further marketing and promotional messages.

2. The organizers will endeavour to ensure that the text message service is available continuously, but do not warrant availability.
3. Participants may enter as many times as they wish and there is no restriction on the number of prizes that may be won. Each entry is allocated a unique number which will be entered into the competition draw.
4. Winners will be drawn from the list of correct answer only and prizes allocated based on the mobile phone number that is billed for the winning text message. Winners will be the persons who on the date of the draw are the contracted or other lawful holder of the mobile phone number from which the text message was sent. If there are conflicting or uncertain claims the organizers may nominate a winner and their nomination will be final. Winners will be contacted on the winning mobile phone number and will be obliged to satisfy the organizers that they are entitled to the prize. If at the time of determination of winners the number of the winning phone number is no longer in use or not legitimate for any reason the prize will go to the next number drawn. If for any reason winners cannot be traced the organizers reserve the right to award the prize to the next number drawn.
5. e.tv (Pty) Ltd will monitor, verify and certify the monthly prize draw.
6. Minors will not qualify for prizes, unless duly assisted by their parent or legal guardian in relation to all formalities for taking possession of prizes.
7. Winners may be required to have their details disclosed and/or appear on radio, television, the Internet or in printed publications.
8. If conflicting claims are made for any prize the organizers will be deemed to be stakeholders in relation to the prize concerned and may approach the courts for appropriate relief.
9. The organizers may discontinue this promotion at any time without notice.
10. This promotion complies with section 54 of the Lotteries Act, 1997 and is open to all South African residents. Changes to section 54 of the Lotteries Act, 1997 may necessitate changes to the terms and conditions of the competition.
11. Employees, directors, partners and agents of the promoters and their immediate family commit an offence if they enter this competition.
12. The promoters, their associated companies, agents, partners and sponsors are not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from an entrant's participation in the competition.
13. The competition is open to anyone except the promoters, their associated companies, agents, partners and sponsors.
