Byron Saxton is no stranger to the WWE Universe. This former ECW play-by-play announcer has traded in his designer suit for tights and is ready to get in the WWE NXT ring. A confident, articulate and versatile competitor, the college-educated Saxton will not only use his strength, but his intelligence, as a weapon.
Before joining WWE, Saxton grew up privileged in Burke, Va., and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida. He went on to become a news, sports and traffic reporter in Florida, but soon followed his boyhood dreams of becoming a WWE Superstar.
With the equally-confident Chris Masters leading the way as his WWE Pro, Saxton won't likely hold back from sharing his vast knowledge with the WWE Universe. Quite comfortable in front of a crowd, and with plenty on his gifted mind, expect Saxton to freely impart his wisdom - and pain - on his fellow NXT Rookies as well.
