LULU STAYS PUT Lulu mistakenly thinks her parents are trying to sell their house. She doesn't want to move, so she sets out to scare off the potential buyers. With Tubby's help, she convinces them that the place is haunted, but oddly enough this only seems to pique their interest. Lulu and Tubby can't figure it out, but it may have something to do with the fact that the "buyers" are actually from the Historical Society, looking for homes to put on their Walking Tour. After all, nothing gives a house historical interest like a pesky resident ghost. SHOELESS LULU A shoe sensation has overtaken Lulu's town. Everyone is sporting a pair of Vipers, the new high-tech runners with the cantilevered soul and the hydraulic arch support. Everyone, that is, except Lulu. She's a little late getting on the bandwagon, and now all the shoe stores are sold out. But Lulu is determined, and after a long hard struggle she finally gets a pair, only to discover that the fickle fortunes of fashion have shifted once again, and Vipers are suddenly yesterday's news. STAR SEARCH A big-time director is in town casting for a new TV commercial. Lulu hopes to wow him at the audition with her tremendous tap dancing talent, but a sudden tumble off stage and into the orchestra pit seems to put an end to that plan. But then a strange thing happens - the director picks her DESPITE her ridiculous pratfall. Maybe he recognizes in her some spark of talent, some all-but hidden star quality that can only be brought out with the proper nurturing and care. Or, maybe he just wants someone who can make a fool of herself in a particularly amusing way.
