Former Brooklyn Assistant District Attorney Michael Mazzariello is the tough-talking judge in this new twist on the syndicated courtroom show. Judge Mazz, as he is known, brings parties back to the scene of the original dispute as he tries to close each case, which is intended to allow the viewers to see the conflict not typically visible inside a courtroom. Each party makes a statement at the opening of the show, then the judge retraces their steps and makes his decision, frequently offering advice and commentary along with a verdict.
