He’s made a living out of bringing down bad guys but now martial arts legend Chuck Norris wants to pass the torch of pain onto aspiring fighters in his new reality series, World Combat League (WCL).
In WCL, viewers are treated to a torture fest as two teams of five competitors each face off in a full contact martial arts competition. Using popular fighting techniques, including boxing, muay thai, kickboxing and karate, the teams are pitted against each other, member versus member in a series of challenges.
The objective is to gain as many points as possible for each team, thus creating the league format of the show.
WCL is a culmination of a lifelong dream for Norris. With muscular, competitive teams and cheering, adoring fans, it will rival the notoriety of WWE, NBA and other sporting events.
