This week on Imbewu: The Seed

30 April 2018

Phakade threatens to tell Zimele the truth, MaNdlovu wants to burn down Macingwane’s house and Futhi enters the Oswenka competition. Imbewu: The Seed, weekdays at 9:30PM.

MaNdlovu and MaZulu fear the worst when Phakade wants to come clean to Ngcolosi. Zane loses the crucial boardroom vote but is strangely calm about the situation. Futhi tells Phakade that he looks tired and he should not judge the Oswenka contest that weekend.

With the tension mounting between Ngcolosi and Phakade, MaNdlovu deems it fit to intervene and settle the stand-off between her two sons once and for all. Zane isn't ready to accept his loss and arranges a meeting with the green energy representative. Nganono makes Zithulele promise him to always uphold the bond that makes them brothers. Buhle tells Mnyamane that Phakade cannot be a judge for the Oswenka competition.

MaNdlovu realises that Zithulele’s curiosity could become problematic for them. Ngcolosi tells Pranav that they should depose Zane from the company. MaNdlovu and MaZulu go back and forth about how to proceed regarding Macingwane. Futhi gets ready to perform.

This is what happened last week on Imbewu: The Seed.

MaNdlovu remains determined to burn down the sangoma’s house. Pranav is appeased by Ngcolosi’s motives for adding the clause to depose a shareholder. Zithulele meets Thu Sheleni over a random game of pool and the two young men strike up an immediate and easy rapport.

Phunyuka tricks Macingwane into leaving his home and then burns down the house. MaNdlovu goes to see the ruins for herself and is left unsettled by it all. Zane urges Pranav to sign the green energy contract behind Ngcolosi’s back. Zithulele discovers that Thu Sheleni is a hustler. Mnyamane asks Futhi out on a date.
