PRESENTATION SCHEDULER: On-Air Presentation & Programme Management Department (Cape Town)
Reporting to the HOD: On Air Operations your key performance areas will include:
Create an accurate daily transmission schedule
Liaise with external departments for any programme, promo discrepancies, late start times and outstanding material
Liaise with the Commercial Time Sales Departments for all commercial scheduling, outstanding material and over sells
Implement promotion planning and meeting contractual agreements
Schedule channel branding
To consistently identify, prioritize and deal with incidents in a timely and professional manner by implementing the appropriate solution
View and schedule of interstitial programming, channel branding and promos
Create promo reports
Provide supervision of any last minute programme changes and live broadcasts
Responsible for final schedule and the distribution of it to on-air users both internal and external
Oversee transmission schedules after hours
Communicate responsibilities to the Scheduler on duty
Daily reconciliation of transmission schedules
Perform Ad hoc duties for On Air Manager
Requirements:
Knowledge of television broadcasting an advantage
Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments effectively
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Self-motivated and ability to work independently
Computer literacy essential

On Air Graphics Operator: TV Operations Department (Johannesburg)
Reporting to the GM: Technical Operations your key performance areas will include:
complete graphics request using templates on the Graphic Computers
check all graphics before going to air
operate graphic play-out computers during live and pre-recorded programs
build animations using template driven computer graphics
load completed graphics on play out machines in FCC and Control room.
type in all titles, supers and credits
Requirements:
working knowledge of Graphic Design, Adobe Photoshop and Dalet Plus
ability to operate On-air graphic play out machines e.g. VIZRT/FX Deko
ability to play titles, supers and credits to air
knowledge of operating in a live and pre-record environment
understanding of broadcasting environment and production process
understanding of television language and role players
ability to take direction, use initiative when needed, and troubleshoot
computer literacy to the level of spreadsheets, word and emails and folder structure
good communication skills, and good understanding of English (read, speak & write)
good hand-eye coordination and long concentration span
ability to work under pressure and manage conflict effectively
team player
reliable and punctual
Note:
The successful candidate will be required to work irregular hours including weekends and public holidays.

Reporting to the Financial Manager your key performance areas include:
Consolidate the Group Financial Management results on a monthly basis
Complete the Management Accounts on a monthly basis
Complete the Statement of Financial Position Account reconciliations for the month-end files
Review and/or complete taxation returns
Review and prepare payments
Do analysis, maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Investigate and report back timeously to consolidated account queries
Assist in preparing of reports for management and board reporting packs
Preparation of audit file
Liaise with external auditors
Perform ad-hoc functions which may be required within the Finance Department
Complete CaseWare drafted annual financial statements for the Group as required
Requirements:
B.Com Accounting degree
Successfully completed 3 year articles at an Audit Firm
Strong knowledge of IFRS and related accounting standards
Strong excel skills
Strong Caseware skills
Knowledge of Syspro an added benefit
Good communication & strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Self motivated and use own initiative
Attention to detail
