Based on a true story, Banderas stars as Pierre Dulaine, a former professional dancer who volunteers to teach his skill to the students of a rundown public school to keep them off the streets. At first, parents, teachers and most certainly the students scoff at his idea.
But as these social misfits, including bad boy Rock (Rob Brown) and far –too--responsible LaRhette (former America’s Next Top Model contestant Yaya DaCosta), begin to enjoy themselves and dream about what to do with their lives, Pierre’s critics are silenced.
