Dashing Kiefer Sutherland searches for lost love Sandra Bullock in the Friday Action Night film, The Vanishing.
In this nail-biting thriller, Sutherland stars as Jeff, a man haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his girlfriend, Diane (Bullock), years ago. Obsessed by finding out what happened to her, he distances himself from everyone in his life, including the woman he is currently seriously involved with, Rita (Nancy Travis).
Rita eventually tires of playing second fiddle to a missing woman and leaves Jeff. Fate intervenes and Jeff meets Barney (Jeff Bridges) who seems to know everything about what happened the night Diane disappeared.
Jeff greedily grabs the opportunity to find Diane but is Barney a friend or foe?
