Acclaimed director Steven Spielberg, Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning are creating a cinematic experience in this action movie, War of the Worlds.
It’s a good weekend for divorced dock worker and father Ray Ferrier (Cruise) as his two kids, rebellious teenager Robbie (Justin Chatwin) and neurotic daughter Rachel (Fanning) are visiting. But their world is shattered when aliens invade Earth in the form of Tripods emerging from the ground.
Hell bent on keeping his children safe, Ray grabs them and narrowly escapes the destruction of New Jersey. While struggling to accept his son’s need to join the fight against the invaders and protect his little girl from capture, he will have to take on man’s biggest enemy to keep his family together.
