    Miles, thinking that Lucilla is overwhelmed by having to look after Millicent, tries to talk her out of it, in vain. David vows to get out from under the BK group's influence. In spite of Niki's warning, Suffocate leaves Bash in charge of the club. Miles is at a loss when it appears Lucilla is undecided about their future. Much to Niki's surprise, Bash stops a potentially dangerous situation. Miles doesn't have all the answers when the journalists badger him with questions about his and Lucilla's relationship.

    During an after sex conversation, Jamie concludes that Paul doesn't like her new haircut or her meatloaf, while he is convinced that she thinks he is getting fat and that she hated their trip to Aruba. As a result, Jamie takes out her frustration on Ira during a meeting to discuss her latest promotion for his store. And things are no better for Paul, who begins to doubt the honesty of his editor, Sid. However, when Ira complains about Jamie's short temper, Paul covers by blaming it on Fran. As the Buchmans struggle to agree on what to do for dinner, Fran learns that her latest project has been completely changed by the client. Making matters worse, Ira claims that Jamie is mad at her. Wanting to know why, Fran calls Jamie. But, when she catches them in the middle of an unsuccessful attempt to have sex, Jamie hangs up, reinforcing Fran's belief that something is wrong. Turning to Lisa to learn the truth, she is led to believe that Jamie is upset about her going back to her old job. As Paul and Jamie continue trying to jump start their flagging sexual relationship, Fran arrives to announce she has quit her job to save their friendship. However, Jamie insists that there is nothing wrong and blames the entire misunderstanding on Paul's being upset with Ira. After Fran passes along the news, Ira tries contacting Paul, only to interrupt another attempt at intimacy with Jamie. He, too, turns to Lisa and concludes it must be about being given his uncle's sporting goods store. Confronting Paul about his alleged problem, Ira offers to make him a partner in the store. Finally. with nowhere else to turn, Jamie decides to rekindle their sexual relationship the only way she knows how -- with some role playing between her and Paul.

    After the Halaal meat scandal erupted in Cape Town late last year, 3rd Degree attempted for weeks to question the body that controls Halaal certification in the Western Cape. We wanted to find out from the MJC how the process works, what checks and balances are in place, and most important, what happens to the money generated from certification?

    With Muslims terrified that they might have unknowingly eaten pork, we wanted to find out how this could have happened on their watch.

    But the MJC refused point blank to speak to us.

    Lieutenant A.K. Waters (Bruce Willis) and his elite squadron of tactical specialists are forced to choose between their duty and their humanity, between following orders by ignoring the conflict that surrounds them, or finding the courage to follow their conscience and protect a group of innocent refugees.

    If they are left behind, they will be at the mercy of the enormous rebel army. Waters is under strict orders from his commanding officer Captain Bill Rhodes (Tom Skerritt) to remain disengaged from the conflict.

    But as he and his men witness the brutality of the rebels first-hand, they are won over to Dr. Kendricks' cause and place their lives at risk by agreeing to escort the villagers on a perilous trek through the dense jungle.

    Waters and his small band of soldiers must weigh the life of one man against their own and the refugees they feel obliged to protect. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. Indeed. Free on e.

     

    Dr. Kendricks, an American citizen by marriage, is tending to the victims of the ongoing civil war at a Catholic mission in a remote village. When Waters arrives, however, Dr. Kendricks refuses to leave unless he promises to help deliver the villagers to political asylum at the nearby border.

After several years in prison, Dris has moved in with Lise (Marie Guillard), a responsible girl who loves him and has waited for him. He gets up every morning at dawn to unload cases of vegetables as they try to rebuild their life together. But his cousin Yanis (Taxi’s Samy Naceri) would find it perfectly natural for Dris to rejoin the gang and share in their criminal exploits, as before. Are yesterday’s friends still friends today? And can one ever escape “la mentale?”
