Abominable

Yi, a teenage girl living in the busy city of Shanghai, discovers something amazing on the roof of her apartment building. Hiding there is a young yeti, far away from his home in the Himalayas. At first, she is shocked and unsure, but soon she realises that the creature is gentle, scared, and in need of help. Yi names him Everest, after the world's tallest mountain.

Together with her friends Jin and Peng, Yi makes a plan to take Everest back to his family in the mountains. What begins as a small act of kindness quickly turns into a journey across China. From glowing fields of flowers to snow-capped peaks, their path is filled with beauty, wonder, and danger.

A wealthy man and a determined zoologist are chasing Everest, each with their own reasons for wanting to capture him. Yi and her friends must stay one step ahead, using courage, cleverness, and trust to guide them. Along the way, Yi discovers more about herself. She finds the strength she didn't know she had. At the same time, Everest reveals magical powers that make their adventure even more extraordinary.

As the group travels further, their bond grows. The friendship between Yi, her friends, and Everest shows that even the most unlikely companions can become family. Every moment brings them closer to the Himalayas and closer to the truth about what really matters in life.
