The Mechanic

Arthur Bishop is a top-level hitman nicknamed “the mechanic” because he makes every assignment look like an accident, suicide or random crime. He works for a secret agency that demands perfect, silent kills. Arthur is calm, detached and deadly.

His world shifts when the agency orders him to kill his mentor, Harry. Arthur obeys, staging the death as a carjacking. At the funeral, he meets Steve, Harry’s angry son, who believes Arthur is a criminal responsible for the murder.

Steve confronts Arthur about the death, but Arthur surprises him by offering to train him instead. Under Arthur’s strict guidance, Steve learns the method of a “mechanic”. Yet as Steve trains, secrets begin to surface. Arthur realizes the mission was a betrayal ordered by Dean, the agency boss, not Harry.

Together, they carry out two hits, one on a cult leader and another on Dean. Arthur ensures each kill appears as a normal cause, preserving his code. Along the way, his partnership with Steve grows complicated by trust and hidden truths.
