The Other Guys

Detectives Allen Gamble and Terry Hoitz are partners in the New York Police Department, but they could not be more different. Allen is quiet, cautious, and happiest at his desk, where he fills out reports. Terry, on the other hand, is hot-headed, impatient, and frustrated by being stuck with Allen instead of working on big cases. Both men are overshadowed by the department’s top cops, who take the glory and the attention while Allen and Terry are left in the background.

One day, a case comes their way that seems routine at first but quickly grows into something much larger. What begins as an investigation into a simple building permit leads them to uncover a massive financial crime involving influential business people and millions of dollars.
