Neelan & Kevin

Brothers Neelan and Kevin have always had each other’s backs, but nothing could prepare them for what happens next. Kevin Naidoo, a hot-headed cop recently suspended after a bungled drug raid, heads home to celebrate his mother’s birthday, hoping for a quiet weekend. His older brother Neelan, witty and street-smart, is just there for the family gathering. What should have been a simple celebration quickly turns into chaos when the pair accidentally swap their mother’s prized Tupperware with a local gang’s stash of drugs. 

With the gang demanding their property back, Kevin and Neelan find themselves thrown headfirst into the criminal underworld of their neighbourhood. They’re not just trying to recover a plastic container; they’re on the run with real stakes, facing dealers, danger, and decisions neither was fully ready for. Amidst the chaos, family loyalties, cultural roots and brotherly banter become their only lifelines.

Set in the lively streets of Lenasia and beyond, the film weaves sharp comedy with action-packed scenes and heartfelt moments. It moves from bakkies and samosa trays to gunmen and gang hideouts, showing how quickly things spiral when the wrong swap hits the wrong people. Along the way, both Neelan and Kevin must face their own weaknesses: Kevin’s impatience and unchecked temper, and Neelan’s desire to prove his worth while trying to protect their mum, the last thing they want to disappoint.
