Aspen to make COVID-19 vaccine in SA

South Africa’s biggest pharmaceutical manufacturer, Aspen Pharmacare, 

has signed a preliminary agreement, with multinational firm, Johnson and Johnson,

to manufacture a potential COVID-19 vaccine at its Port Elizabeth plant.

Aspen believes it has the capacity to produce more than 300 million doses a year.
