British & Irish Lions tour going down under?

As franchises ready themselves for the upcoming season, the Springboks test series against the British & Irish Lions, has also come under the spotlight.

The tour which was scheduled for July and August. It’s now gaining support to be played in Australia rather than in South Africa.

Rugby writer Leighton Koopman joined us on Friday to discuss this possibility.

He says it will be a knock for SA Rugby if the series does not take place in our own backyard.
