Counting the cost of looting

From the Alexandra township in Johannesburg’s north to Diepsloot in the south rampant looting and acts of criminality have sporadically continued. 

In recent days, malls and shopping centres were trashed and burnt to the ground.  While some have called these orchestrated acts treasonous,

the fact is that it’ll take years for our country to recover. Today our reporter Rianté Padayachee took to the skies to assess the damage.
