COVID-19 mutates in HIV+ patients

A new study on how COVID-19 impacts HIV-positive patients has shed light on how the virus mutates.

Last week, South African scientists released the findings of their study which showed that an HIV positive woman carried the coronavirus for eight months. The study shows that the virus mutated 32 times and developed the three key mutations that make up the 501Y.V2 variant.
