Development in townships under the spotlight

More development needs to take place in townships, so that children can have access to proper sport and recreational facilities.

The Head of community organising at Ndifuna Ukwazi Buhle Booi made the call on Tuesday

following the tragedy that unfolded, in Nyanga in Cape Town on Monday.

The bodies of four boys were recovered, after a sandpit they were playing on near the N2 collapsed.

Booi believes there are more reasons for this tragedy then just negligence.
