Disruptive rain warning issued

Authorities and disaster management teams in KwaZulu-Natal and parts of East London are on high alert after a warning from the South African Weather Service.

It issued a yellow level 1 warning for disruptive rain for parts of the country. The weather service says the disruptive rain may lead to localised flooding.

Elizabeth Viljoen from the South African Weather Service says the showers are expected to continue into the weekend.
