Has SA developed herd immunity?

On Thursday, South Africa reported over 2 000  COVID-19 infections for the first time this week.

A total of 53 people have succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.

As fears mount of a second wave, some experts believe that should a second wave hit, the impact could be less deadly because of immunity.
