How to deal with trauma amid lockdown

With the lockdown now in place for the next three weeks,

many police officers have been experiencing additional stress and trauma.

Not only do they have to deal with horrific crime scenes,

but now they also have the added stress of taking extra precaution because of the coronavirus.

Clinton Nolan was a police officer for eight years.

In 2014 he witnessed his colleague shot his wife and then turn the gun on himself.

Nolan left the police force and became a social worker to help his former colleagues,

deal with trauma and spread awareness about dealing with trauma.

He says we all need to talk more about trauma.
