Icasa sets new rules for sport broadcasts

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa has made changes to the Sports Broadcasting Service Regulations,

after noting that the overwhelming majority of people, still rely on a free-to-air TV service. Icasa also released a list of sporting events,

which should be broadcast on free-to-air TV channels. Mpho Ndaba, the deputy chairperson at Save Our SABC,

which has been pushing for the changes says its happy with the developments.
