Impact of COVID-19 on GDP

The quality of life for most South Africans has declined and it’s been exacerbated by COVID-19.

This is according to Isaah Mhlanga, the Chief Economist at Alexander Forbes. His comment come after

the latest Gross Domestic Products figures revealed, that our economy contracted by 7% in 2020.

He says we may see real opportunities for recovery this year.
