Joao Rodrigues appeals ruling

Apartheid-era cop, Joao Rodrigues, appeared at the Supreme Court of Appeal

on Friday to appeal a ruling by the Johannesburg High Court,

which dismissed his application for a permanent stay of prosecution.

Rodrigues is accused of killing anti-apartheid activist, Ahmed Timol.
