Nxesi: We are committed to saving jobs

Labour Minister Thulas Nxesi says government is committed to saving jobs.

Today during a press briefing he highlighted how the Unemployment Insurance Fund has so far paid out more than R60 billion to millions of workers.

Nxesi also touched on how the recent unrest and looting in Gauteng and KZN affected and will continue to affect the country's workers.

Labour law expert Jonathan Goldberg meanwhile believes Nxesi’s announcements are positive and encouraging for workers and employers.
