Over 50s get the jab

Over a third of all the over-50s who have registered for the COVID-19 vaccine countrywide are located in the Western Cape. More than 100 000 people in this cohort have signed up for the jab.

This comes after online registration opened last week. But the seniors in the province appear less keen to do the same.
