SA sport stars open up about racism

South African sport stars have taken to social media to share their experiences of racism in sport.

The outpouring came after Proteas cricketer Lungi Ngidi, came out in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement, saying he wanted the national team to show their support as well.

Cricket South Africa has since thrown its weight behind the movement and many former sport stars have spoken out, about racism in sport.

etv news anchor Tapfuma Makina spoke to Cape Cobras coach Ashwell Prince, who also voiced his concerns, saying our cricket system is broken.
