Sahpra okays ‘controlled’ Ivermectin access

After months of calls to approve Ivermectin, South Africans will soon be allowed to use, the controversial anti-parasitic drug.

The SA Health Products Regulatory Authority announced on Wednesday that it will allow the drug to be accessed, through a ‘controlled’ programme.

However, talks around how it will work, is still underway.
