Travel restrictions hit taxi industry hard

The National Taxi Alliance says government’s decision to close our country’s land borders cost the industry millions of rands.

Earlier, government closed the countries 20 border posts, because they were viewed as COVID-19 super-spreaders.

Theo Malele, the spokesperson for the National Taxi Alliance, says the lives of taxi drivers were seriously affected.
