Trevor Manuel speak on corruption

Trevor Manuel was trending on Monday for apparently referring to the party’s time in office,

"as almost 30 wasted years". This is not the first time the former finance minister

has aired his dissatisfaction with his comrades. Back in 2018, he described the presidency,

of Jacob Zuma, as a total disaster.  The ANC is not very happy and criticised Manuel over his latest remarks.

In a statement the party says there is no basis for Manuel to portray a doom-laden picture of the country.

Manuel himself joined us earlier and spoke to etv news anchor Annika Larsen to clear the air.
