UWC students with historic debt can register

The University of the Western Cape says students applying for the 2021 academic year, will be able to apply for payment plans to cover their

registration cost. Students with outstanding debt will also be able to register. The university has received 110 000 first-year applications.

It can only accept 4 500 students when classes start on Monday. Gasant Abarder, UWC’s spokesperson, says they pride

themselves on giving students access to education.
