Water promise runs dry

It’s been nearly a month since e.tv news & sport first reported on the plight of residents in Gogozayo village, in the Eastern Cape.

For decades, they have been relying on a dirty river, that often runs dry, as a source of water.

At the time of our report, the OR Tambo District municipality, said it would provide water tankers to this community,
as a temporary relief. 

However, this has still not been done.
