Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu, from Johannesburg to the royal palace in KwaNongoma in KwaZulu-Natal. Carrying shields and spears hundreds of AmaBhuti and Zulu maidens arrived in a procession to pay their respects to the regent.

The queen will be honoured with a special provincial official funeral tomorrow.
