When we meet Blondie, she is living with her husband, Justice. The two have been married for two years now after they met and it was love at first sight. Blondie likes to stay away from conflict so she never really confronts Justice about anything. 

And maybe that’s what he likes. As we follow Blondie, through helping Buhle with reopening the restaurant, we realize just how street-smart she is. She happens to take out loans from the wrong people, which spearheads a dangerous situation that Buhle is forced to get her out of by making a deal. Little does she know that the deal is with her true love, Justice. 

Upon fighting for the girls, we realize that the reason she is so invested in reopening the restaurant is that she wants the stage to showcase her singing skills once more. As we follow Blondie, we journey with her as this mam-Sgebenga tries to relive her glory days, only to rediscover herself as a mother to Portia, a true makoti, and on the way to becoming close to her sister once again.
