About
Billy Lo is a popular martial arts movie star who suddenly finds himself under threat. A dangerous crime syndicate tries to silence him. When he refuses to give in, someone shoots him during a film shoot. Billy survives, but the injury forces him to have plastic surgery, changing his face. He uses this chance to fake his own death and vanish.
Disguised under a new identity, Billy sets out to uncover who ordered the attack. As he sneaks closer to the syndicate, his fiancée Ann is kidnapped, so he must act fast. His search for truth leads him into deadly fights.
The final showdown happens inside a restaurant building that stands in for the original pagoda concept. Each floor of the building is defended by a skilled martial artist. Among his foes are Pasqual (Dan Inosanto), the Hapkido Master (Ji Han‑jae), and towering Hakim (Kareem Abdul‑Jabbar). Billy battles them one by one, showing discipline and clever moves. These matches include the famous yellow-and-black jumpsuit, jazzing up his style and showing his fearless heart.
Because Bruce Lee died in 1973 before filming ended, much of the movie features stand-ins like Kim Tai‑jong and Yuen Biao, mixed with clips of Lee from other projects. The result is a patchwork story that keeps a few exciting moments but sometimes feels uneven.
