Lady Bloodfight

Jane Jones is an American backpacker who arrives in Hong Kong seeking change. When a gang of local thugs attacks her, she defends herself and catches the eye of Shu, a female martial arts master. Shu invites Jane to train and prepares her to fight in a secret tournament known as the Kumite, a fierce, all‑female underground martial arts contest.

Jane’s story is personal. Her father once entered the Kumite and disappeared without a trace. She wants answers and the chance to honor his memory by winning the tournament. Under Shu’s calm and steady guidance, Jane learns traditional techniques, stamina and inner strength. She earns her place in the competition alongside other fighters, each loyal to their own teachers and styles.

The fights grow intense as Jane faces rivals from all over the world. Highlights include her biggest opponent, Svietta, a fierce Russian ex-prisoner whose brutal style tests Jane’s limits. Another rival, Ling, is a hardened student of Shu’s old rival Wai, adding rivalry both inside and outside the ring.

Though the story is simple, the fight scenes are energetic and often bloody. The camera work and editing don’t always show every move clearly, but Jane’s grit shines through. The tournament is raw and dramatic, with stakes that feel real as Jane pushes herself harder every round.
