Power Rangers

In the small town of Angel Grove, five high-school students, Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Trini and Zack, find their lives turned upside-down. Each of them struggles with their own challenges: Jason was kicked off the football team, Kimberly faces the fallout of a cyber-bullying scandal, Billy has trouble fitting in and dealing with grief, Trini feels isolated and unsure who she is, and Zack carries the weight of a sick mother.

When an ancient evil warrior named Rita Repulsa awakens and threatens Earth’s fate, the five teens are chosen by the last of the Power Rangers, Zordon, to become a new team of Rangers and defend the planet. With mysterious power-coins in hand, they gain strength, speed and access to mighty Zords: giant robotic machines to battle the forces of darkness.

But gaining superpowers isn’t enough. They must learn to work together, overcome their doubts and embrace who they really are. While Rita builds her army and aims to seize the Morphing Grid, the source of all power, the teens’ journey becomes as much about finding friendship and purpose as it is about saving the world.

Power Rangers offers both spectacle and theme: high-stakes battles, giant robots, alien invasions, and a story of identity, belonging and growth. For fans of superheroes and action-adventure, it asks whether ordinary people can become extraordinary when they stand together.
