Afrobarometer's survey results on corruption

Afrobarometer along with the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation conducted a survey on corruption. Over 1500 people were interviewed over a period of two months in May and June this year.

The survey found that over 60% of the people interviewed believe that corruption has increased this past year. The survey also found that seven in 10 people believe that government is not performing adequately to combat corruption.

Project Leader for Inclusive Economies at the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation Jaynisha Patel joined us to discuss some the survey results.
