ANC: Voters gave us a warning

The ANC says the dismal voter turnout in yesterday’s polls is a warning sign to the party to get its house in order.

Just over 12 million of the 26 million registered voters in South Africa made their mark yesterday.

It’s said to be the lowest voter turnout since the dawn of democracy.

But ANC head of elections Fikile Mbalula says voter apathy is not a punishment for the party.
