Broken lifts leave patients gasping

Patients and healthcare workers are at their wits’ end over dysfunctional lifts at Durban’s Addington Hospital.

For months patients and nurses have had use the stairs.

Sometimes they would need to walk up about 13 flights to get medical attention or treat patients.
