CASAC disagrees with JSC on Hlope

Judicial Service Commission spokesperson, Dali Mpofu, says they'll take their own time to process a Judicial Conduct Tribunal Report,

on Western Cape Judge President John Hlophe. The tribunal found Hlophe guilty of gross misconduct.

This follows a complaint that he had tried to improperly influence the decision,

of two Constitutional Court Justices presiding over a matter, involving former president Jacob Zuma.

The Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution's Lawson Naidoo, spoke to us on Tuesday,

and shared his thoughts on the future of John Hlophe.

He says when dealing with a matter that is being going on for thirteen years there needs to be a greater level of urgency from the JSC.
