Civil unrest impacts vaccine rollout

Amid rising COVID-19 infections and the strain on the public health system Western Cape health is monitoring the effect of taxi violence

on its trauma health response and vaccine rollout. At the same time the provincial administration is also considering

the impact on its pharmaceutical and goods supply pipeline as a result of the unrest in Gauteng and KZN.
