Cleaning up after Cape Town fires

Fire crews are conducting mopping-up operations on the slopes of Table Mountain today following a devastating wildfire earlier this week.

400 firefighters were called up to battle the blaze. Among them an all-women crew, the Juliet team.

The Juliet Crew is a product of an NCC Environmental Services and Chrysalis Academy collaboration, training and employing wildland firefighters.

But the teams hard work isn’t over just yet, until they find a permanent base. To tell us more our reporter Natalie Malgas joined us.
