Court battle to halt COVID-19 jabs for children

The African Christian Democratic Party has accused government of using children as a shield to protect society against the risk of the spread of COVID-19.

About two months ago the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine for children aged 12 to 17.

The party together with community organisations is taking legal action to have the process stopped until the outcome of an appeal is delivered.
