District Six documentary wins big

It seems fitting that just as District Six claimants prepare to move back to the area a documentary on the impact of the forced removals has won another international film award.

Weaam Williams’ documentary, ‘District Six: Rising from the Dust’ claimed the Best Documentary title at the Beyond the Curve International Film Festival in France.

This is just another accolade to the long list of international prizes for Williams and her team at Tribal Alchemy Productions. She joined us to discuss the latest accolade.
