E Cape healthcare buckles under COVID-19 pressure

Bankrupt municipalities, reports of COVID-19 patients dying on the streets with no access to healthcare, and a hospital with a thousand available beds, but no staff to work in it.

This is the current reality in the Eastern Cape as the province heads towards its COVID-19 peak.
