Groundbreaking COVID-19 ‘poo tracking’

A group of South African scientists have made a ground-breaking development, in the fight against COVID-19. 

Using faeces, they’re able to track COVID-19 hotspots. 

Green-Hill Laboratories is tracing COVID-19 RNA in sewage. This method helps health authorities prioritise areas, 
that appear to have a higher infection rate.
