Home Affairs blocks gay moms from registering baby

A Cape Town gay couple is desperate to have their baby’s birth registered.

However, the law doesn’t cater for unmarried, same-sex couples to both be registered as parents.

This means only one parent’s name will appear on the birth certificate.
